After the 2020 pandemic shook the culinary industry (along with just about everything else), Lorin Michel Peters was forced to make a career pivot. Having been a savory chef for her entire career, she knew that the classic cookie was in need of its own shake-up. She wanted to create something different, but wanted to infuse the classic flavors and textures that make homemade cookies so good. After a few late-night R+D sessions in her home kitchen and input from handful of willing tasters, the perfect cookie took shape. As a wink to its already loyal following, Cookie Rich launched as the ultimate updated treat on Halloween 2020.

Cookie Rich launched an extended local delivery radius of 30 miles on February 1st, 2023.  My goal is to reach every corner of Austin so that everyone can gift themselves, clients, friends and family, no matter what part of town they are in.  Outside of Austin? No problem! We ship nationwide - even Hawaii and Alaska! 

Another local update is that the Cookie Rich food trailer is now open earlier. Our new hours are 7:30 am - 3 pm.  Not only can you pick up cookies on your way to the office or to meet friends, but now we offer breakfast items each morning.  Our cinnamon rolls are made with the same recipe I have been making since I was a teenager. They are soft, gooey, and have 25% more filling than traditional cinnamon rolls.  Need something savory to go with your sweets? We now offer Tacodeli breakfast tacos each morning until 11:30 am.
